*Form a Network: I have a great support system of women who are sharing this journey with me.
*Pose for the camera! Photos keep us honest; take them regularly and at different angles.
*Know what works for you! If you can't wake up for morning workouts, try lunchtime, evenings or splitting up exercise throughout the day. It really doesn't matter when you workout, as long as you move!
*Decorate your kitchen counter with fruit (and then eat it regularly).
*Don't Let Hair Be Your Excuse! Ask your stylist to help you figure out how to maintain your sense of style without sacrificing your workout time!
Snacks So Good You May Think They're Bad!
*Rice or other Puffed Grain Cake with Natural Nut Butter and Dried Cranberries (I like Kumut cakes with raw almond butter, and cranberries infused with apple juice-no added sugar)
*Baked Cinnamon Granny Smith Apples (butter spray and lots of cinnamon work wonders!)
*Whole Wheat Pita (split) Pizza with Roasted Veggies and Goat Cheese
*Baked Sweet Potato Fries (rosemary, chilli powder, cumin, and cinnamon add great flavor)
*Dark Chocolate Square (at least 60% Coaco) and a few Natural Almonds
*Berry and Banana Smoothie w/ Vanilla Whey Protein (also silken tofu adds protein and creamy, smoothtexture without impacting the taste! Don't knock it until you try it! )
*Hummus (look at the ingredients if you buy in the grocery store!) and Veggies and/or Whole Wheat Pita Chips
*Toasted Ezekiel Bread topped with Raw Almond Butter, Bananas and Cinnamon
*Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel Cereal with Almond Milk and Berries
